Asian Double Eyelid Surgery

About half of Asian people do not have an upper eyelid crease. Asian blepharoplasty, or the Asian double eyelid procedure, is a surgical procedure designed to create a natural looking fold to the upper eyelid. The goal of the procedure to create a natural looking fold without westernizing the Asian eye. There are several techniques that can be used to accomplish this. We will help you decide which one is best for you.

Asian Nasal Surgery

The goal of Asian nasal surgery, or Asian rhinoplasty, is to create a shapely nose that is in proportion to the rest of the face. While the goal of Caucasian nose surgery is usually to make the nose smaller, Asian rhinoplasty typically involves making the nose larger. Asian patients often desire a larger bridge and raised, more shapely tip. These goals may be accomplished using a variety of approaches and techniques, including the use of implants such as silicone and cartilage from your own body. During your consultation, we will help you decide which techniques best meet your individual needs.

Asian Facial Surgery

Asian patients often seek to reduce prominent cheekbones, to reduce an enlarged or masculine jawline, and/or to improve the contour of the chin. At the Bay Area Center for Plastic Surgery, we have a variety of techniques available to improve the contour of the face, including placement of implants, jaw shaving, and even non-surgical jaw shaving using Botox.
