Skin Care

Botox
Botox® is a revolutionary treatment to reverse facial wrinkles. It is a chemical that relaxes the facial muscles that cause wrinkles. Crow’s feet, worry lines, and laugh lines can all be a thing of the past. When skillfully applied, Botox® injections produce a natural and rested appearance. Botox® results are generally visible in 2-3 days and last 3-4 months or longer. Botox® is only useful in treating expression lines and cannot be used to repair sagging skin caused by aging.
Botox® may also help patients who experience very heavy sweating under their arms or in their hands, a condition called hyperhidrosis.
Injectable Fillers
As we grow older, our skin develops wrinkles, and we lose volume in prominent areas of the face including the area around the eyes, the cheeks, and the lips. Fillers such as Juvederm®, Restylane®, Radiesse®, Sculptra®, Artefill®, collagen, and your own fat can be used to fill in a wrinkle or to restore or enhance lip, cheek, and eyelid fullness. Depending on the material used, the results can last from months to years. We will help you select the filler that is best for you. When injected into the skin in tiny amounts with a fine needle, the result is instantaneous, producing a long-lasting, natural enhancement, gentle and soft to the skin.
New filler materials are constant being developed. We can provide you with information on these. For your safety and peace of mind, we will only use fillers which have been approved by the FDA.
Laser Skin Rejuvenation
With time facial skin begins to show signs of wear and tear. Lines and creases appear while skin begins to loosen and sag. Age spots may also appear. The effects of sun, smoking, stress, poor nutrition, pollution and alcohol all accelerate the aging process. Laser skin rejuvenation is one way to erase the ravages of time on delicate skin. Lasers are particularly effective to remove fine lines, treat scars and reverse the effects of sun damage.
Chemical Peels
The Bay Area Center for Plastic Surgery offers a variety of chemical peels from light to medium depth. By using he highest concentration of lactic, salicylic, glycolic, and retinoic acid, this treatment can accelerate cell turnover to help minimize fine lines and reduce acne and acnes scarring and help diminish hyperpigmentation.
Laser Vein Treatment
Prominent blood vessels and spider veins can be caused by sun exposure, aging, heredity, trauma to the skin, and venous hypertension. They are especially common on the face around the nose and on the legs. Appropriate skincare and makeup can minimize their appearance, but laser treatments can achieve more permanent results so you don’t have to worry about wearing makeup all the time.
